The marketplace grew from 10 to more than 40 plugins in two years, with integrations from leading brands like Baby Audio, Arturia, and Ableton.

That growth brought new challenges: more plugins to discover, more complexity to install and manage.

From Discovery to Install

The problem The marketplace grew from under ten plugins to more than 40 in two years, with partner integrations (Baby Audio, Arturia, Ableton) alongside in-house builds. The existing system, built for a small catalog, couldn’t keep up: too few ways to browse or filter for plugins relevant to a user’s needs, and the path from discovery to install kept accumulating friction.

A final word

Due to time constraints and strategic prioritization, we set aside splitting the Discover page in two: one dedicated to discovering new plugins, another to managing plugins already included in the user's plan. That's the evolution I'd have liked to push further, for an even clearer information hierarchy.
