Repitch 2
RePitch is a vocal correction plugin used by professionals at HBO, Capitol Records, Disney, BBC, and Warner Bros.
Adding new features meant more than extending the interface, it meant rethinking who the plugin was actually built for.
New architecture, new audience
The problem Adding two major features, Multi-track and Attack mode, meant the existing architecture and navigation couldn’t keep up without complicating the experience. An audit also surfaced a long list of UX/UI bugs and outdated patterns. On top of that, there was an accessibility gap: built for professionals, the tool remained hard to approach for intermediate or amateur musicians.
Key decisions
- Structure couldn’t absorb new features → full audit of the existing product (UX/UI bugs, outdated patterns).
- Navigation fell short for Multi-track and Attack mode → rebuilt architecture and navigation (right-hand sidebar, floating toolbar).
- Interface built for expert users → clarified the information hierarchy to also guide less experienced musicians.
- No design system → created RePitch’s first design system, aligned with Synchro Arts brand guidelines, cutting back-and-forth with engineering during QA.

A final word
This project was a genuinely interesting challenge in information hierarchy and navigation. Certain technical constraints kept us from pushing the UI as far as we wanted, but we made real progress and laid the groundwork for what's next with the design system.
