Repitch 2
RePitch is a vocal correction plugin used by professionals at HBO, Capitol Records, Disney, BBC, and Warner Bros.
The goal of this new version was to add new features while fixing existing issues.
New architecture, navigation and features
Adding Multi-track and Attack mode meant rethinking the existing architecture and navigation to support them properly. A clearer hierarchy is now in place with the right-hand sidebar, and the floating toolbar in the main view makes navigation simpler. An audit at the start of the project also surfaced a long list of UX/UI bugs and a few outdated UX patterns, both addressed in this version.
Building RePitch’s Design System
I created the first design system for RePitch, aligned with the new Synchro Arts brand guidelines. This saved the technical team time and avoided numerous back-and-forth exchanges during the QA phases. It laid a solid foundation for subsequent versions.
A final word
This new version has made it possible to incorporate new features without making the software more difficult to use, while also modernizing the interface.
